Membrane Impermeant Nucleic Acid Dyes 細胞膜不通透性之細胞核染劑

細胞膜不通透性之細胞核染劑用於標記細胞膜受損的細胞核，包括死細胞、固定的細胞或透化處理 (permeabilized) 的細胞。由於細胞膜不通透性細胞核染劑無法標記活細胞，因此常用於細胞存活率研究中，作為死細胞的指示劑，或在共定位或免疫標記等應用中作為細胞核的對比染劑 (counterstain)。

AAT Bioquest 提供多種細胞膜不通透性之細胞核染劑包括 DAPI、propidium iodide (PI)、7-aminoactinomycin D (7-AAD)、Nuclear Blue™ DCS1、Nuclear Green™ DCS1、Nuclear Orange™ DCS1 和 Nuclear Red™ DCS1、花青二聚體 (Cyanine dimer) 染劑 - DiTO™、DiYO™ 和 TWO-PRO™。
這些花青二聚體染劑也對核酸表現出卓越的靈敏度，包括雙股 DNA (dsDNA)、單股 DNA (ssDNA) 和 RNA，在與核酸結合時其螢光會增強 100 至 1000 倍，且莫爾消光係數 (molar extinction coefficients) 比 Ethidium homodimer (EthD) 大一個數量級 (10倍)。
